Description

KENJING XGN15 is a compact, modular SF6 ring main unit for 12/18/24 kV distribution networks. It integrates three-position load break switch, vacuum circuit breaker options, five-point mechanical interlocks, IP-rated enclosures, and DTU-ready automation for safe, maintainable ring or radial feeders.

  • Wide MV ratings, high dielectric strength
    12/18/24 kV systems, 630 A busbar. Power-frequency withstand up to 65 kV and lightning impulse up to 145 kV across open contacts, supporting long creepage and compact clearances.

  • Fault duty and thermal capability
    Short-time withstand 20/4 or 25/4 kA/s; peak making 50/63 kA. Rated transfer/breaking options per module (C/F/V) cover feeder, transformer, and sectionalizing duties.

  • Three-position switching & full interlocking
    Close-Open-Earth LBS in epoxy resin, with status indication, pressure gauge, and observation window. Five interlocks coordinate isolator/earthing/CB/lower door to prevent mis-operations.

  • Configurable primary schemes
    PT (metering/power tapping) units, incoming/outgoing feeder units, load switch + fuse (F), vacuum circuit breaker (V), and combined CFV common-tank layouts. Side/top bus extensions allow two-in/two-out or two-in/four-out RMU bays.

  • Sealed, compact construction
    Gas compartment uses SF6 with robotic welds and explosion-relief device. Cabinet widths from 325–750 mm; IP protection (typ. IP2X cabinet, IP67 bushings) supports harsh sites.

  • Lifecycle and diagnostics
    Mechanical life up to 10,000 ops (CB) / 3,000 ops (isolation & earthing). Partial discharge ≤ 65 pC; main circuit resistance ≤ 150 µΩ. Optional DTU enables digital measurement, control, protection, and SCADA communication.

  • Installation-friendly
    Front access cable chamber with removable covers, single/three-core terminations, CTs/LA ready. Clear foundation drawings and standardized secondary wiring harnesses simplify build.
